Annual Montebello Heritage 5K/10K Run along the historic Whittier Blvd. The 5k begins at 8:00 a.m. at Montebello City Park. All participants receive a shirt and medal. The first 700 registered runners will receive their shirt and medal that day. All late registrants will still receive their shirt and medal for pickup within two weeks.
Beer Garden in the Park opens at 9am, DJ, Tamale vendor and coffee vendor on site.

Course Description
Welcome to the third annual Run Montebello Heritage 5/10K ! This is one of the fastest courses in Southern California. Certified USA Track and Field course. Start and Finish on historic Whittier Blvd across from the city park. Runners will cover Whittier and Montebello Blvd between Beverly, Maple and 4th Street. All newly paved road. The 10K is 2 loops on the same 5K route. Division winner and commemorative Finisher medals for all registrants. If you're looking for a personal best time, Run Montebello Heritage 5/10K is for you.

NOTE:
In the event that we run out of Finisher Medals because of the overwhelming success in attendance, we will be providing them two weeks after the event for pick up at the Montebello Recreation Office on Victoria Ave. We will take down your information at the conclusion of the event to make sure we have your award ready within that time.
The first 700 registered for 5k/10k are guaranteed a shirt and medal on raceday. Aztlan Athletics will take down your information for later pickup.
